- Paul, has never earned a single penny from opera performance, other than winning a tv talent show in 1999 - the winnings funding masterclasses.
- Paul has not performed since 2003.
- He is not a professional opera singer pretending to be a mobile phone sales man, but rather he is a mobile phone salesman aspiring to be an opera singer.
- An operatic voice IS a trained voice.

As a composer and record producer who has co-written with and produced Chaka Khan I can confidently say it is Paul Potts' SPIRIT that stirred and moved people. Yes, he was a bit wobbly on his top note, but his soul is what touched everyone. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what is sorely lacking in today's music. So, good on ya, Paul. Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped.
